Prevention is always better than cure and you need to take a few steps so that you can know exactly how to avoid stress. The first thing is to consider where stress comes from and you therefore need to look at the stressors in your life. There are people who dedicate their lives to giving others stress and, you have every right to avoid such people. However, when that person is your boss or co worker, you might not have this option but you can employ other ways to deal with them. You can make sure your work is done right so that no issue can arise that will cause you stress.

Other very simple things you can do include smiling and keeping a light heart. This are just the things we might take for granted but, they stimulate our bodies and help in the production of 'feel good' hormones which ensure that we are not stressed. Giving yourself space will avoid stress. Some people never move away from where they always are and it can cause stress to them even without their knowledge. Also, if you do not get enough rest and sleep you are bound to be stressed. Take time and ensure that you take care of yourself well by taking time to rest and sleep.

Statistics have shown that those people who touch and hug constantly often have joy and happiness escaping stress. Therefore, you can show genuine affection this way and make people around you stress free. Another thing that is very vital is the taking of a balanced diet which is rich in vitamins from green vegetables and others. You can also add essential supplements to your diet so that you get the right quantity of nutrients you need. Your immunity will stand against the harmful effects of stress.
