The Food You Eat And The Food You Don't
By Eugene Soh

The abs diet successfully provides needed nutrition for the body without eliminating certain food groups entirely. Some diet programs other than the abs diet either decrease the amount of a food group drastically, or prohibit its intake altogether. Take the no carb diet as an example. It suggests that you do away with all kinds of carbohydrates in order to get a lean body. The abs diet contradicts this method by adding foods which contain complex carbohydrates, so that your body has the needed energy in order to get through the day.

The abs diet also has a list of twelve 'must have' foods which you need to include in your meal plan. The surprising thing about this list of abs diet foods is that includes certain dairy and meat products, a no-no in other diet plans. Nuts, beans, vegetables, oatmeal, and berries are also other ingredients which make up the abs diet a more desirable food program.

Probably the most beneficial part of the abs diet list is the inclusion of oatmeal and whole grain cereal in the mix. These healthy foods help in the overall circulation of blood in the body by providing it with rich fiber in order to flush the toxins out. This means that the abs diet is not just a fat burning food program, but a detoxifying method as well.

Other foods which are staples of the abs diet include apples and other citrus fruits and juices, brown rice, sunflower seeds, sweet potatoes, shellfish and mussels, bananas, garlic and lentils, mushrooms, melons and peaches, peas and other bean foods, pepper, and lean game. Believe it or not, the list also includes pizza as a staple of the food program; while other fad diets raise a skeptic eye on this inclusion, it must be stated that this food contains healthy ingredients, which are practically non-existent in meat lover's pizza.

When Eugene weighed 311 lbs, he never though he would cut weight, gain muscles and sculpt abs. He now teaches freelance dieting lessons and muscle-building exercises with his success largely contributed by "The Truth About Six-Pack Abs" by Mike Geary. Visit Ab Workouts to find out more today!
